We finally got internet in the room and it is beautiful.  Now I should be able to keep in contact much better.  We also had our first thunderstorm yesterday and it was beautiful (even though it lasted all day and into the night).  Even though there have been several gargantuan events recently (including the ones just mentioned), the one that took the cake was at dinner last night.  We went to a restaurant themed after the cultural revolution that took place from the 60’s into the 70’s.  The culture was exquisite in the form of huge wall paintings depicting daily life during the cultural revolution and waiters and waitress dressed in traditional clothes.  The food was also phenomenal even though we really couldn’t read the menu.  We had a variety of dishes including fried bananas covered in caramel, a full fish cooked in a sweet sauce, and to top it off, a nice dish of frog and vegetables.  I am definitely broadening my food horizons.  Well, back to work.  I hope to hear from you guys soon!
